CHAMBER COMMITTEES GETTING MORE ACTIVE.
Two Chamber Committees are getting more active than ever before, with the Economic Development Committee re-organizing and beginning meetings this month. Chamber Board Member Ed Hudson (left), with Advanced Technology Group, chairs the Minority Business Council which meets the Second Wednesday of each month at 2:30 p.m. at the Chamber office.
Ed has an extensive background in large corporation diversification training, including BellSouth and Lucent Technologies. He currently manages his own telecommunication consulting firm.

In addition, the Economic Development Committee will begin meeting again on a regular basis this month, with meetings scheduled at the Chamber office at 8:30 a.m. on the First Thursday morning of each month.
Chamber Board Member David Bradley (left), with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Alabama, will be chairing this committee. They will be looking into ways the committee and Chamber can work with the City of Hoover to assist in economic development projects, as well as with other local governments.
