Golf-StraightOn7-BarronMark Barron of the Cook's Pest Control Team hit the straightest drive on Hole Number 7, and won a $50.00 gift card from Bonefish Grill, presented by Golf Committee Chairman Joe DiBenedetto. Ron Simms of the Hyatt Regency-Wynfrey Hotel Team hit the straightest drive on Number 10; John Hicks on the Enersys Team and John Stanton of the King Acura Team hit Closest To the Pin on Par 3 Holes Number 6 & 12, respectively for their prizes. In all, it was perfect Chamber of Commerce weather, with about 85 degrees, and a perfect gentle left to right breeze all day long! We had some 35 volunteers working all through the day that kept everything running as smooth as silk, too. Thanks to Haley Montgomery of Medical West for organizing the volunteers and their time commitments, and to Chairman Joe DiBenedetto for chairing the tournament - this has been the most successful tournament in the history of the Hoover Area Chamber of Commerce!
