The Hoover Area Chamber website is a tremendous resource to our company. There are many useful features and links, but the most useful to our company is the membership directory - it is updated on a regular basis and is a reliable source when we need to learn more about member businesses and organizations.

Being a small business owner, I realize the importance of networking and building relationships. I first joined the Chamber just to see what kind of impact it could have on my business. I went to some of the functions and found that I had minimal success. Then I decided to really get involved with the projects and activities that the Chamber supported, such as serving as an Ambassador and volunteering for the Bruno’s Memorial Classic. I realized that these activities help me to get to know the people of Hoover, and in turn, they can see that I truly care about serving the community.
